About

General Info

Flow is a music audio and video podcast brought to you from New York City. All podcasts are free and can be consumed on your computer or portable media device. So you don’t need an iPod to join in the fun.

Our Shows

We have a couple of different shows here for your music enjoyment. On the video side there’s On Location, a live music show featuring bands playing out in some of the coolest indie music venues in New York City. We’ve also got Flow TV which showcases independently produced music videos. On the audio side, we’ve got Video Simulcasts of our On Location shows for those folks who prefer aural enjoyment. And then there’s also the Flow Music Mix, featuring a mix of music from artists on Flow video shows and more.

Getting Your Flow

The audio is presented in MP3 format and the videos are in a Quicktime format that can be played on your computer or on a Video iPod, if you’re lucky enough to own one of those little babys! You can get your flow by one of three methods:

1) Listen or view in the web page - There’s a flash audio player on each page for you to listen to the latest audio content. The player can be detached by clicking the up arrow on the upper right portion of the player. All video posts feature an embedded video player that uses Apple’s Quicktime format. This is a free plug in from Apple so if you don’t have it, then go over and get it!
2) Download from the web page - Each post has a direct link to the media file associated with that post. In most cases you can right click with your mouse, download the file and consume the media on your computer or portable media device.
3) Subscribe - Subscribers have all the fun. Why? Because they get automatic updates on the latest content that posted in the flow. You can subscribe via free software like iTunes or Juice. Get over to the Subscribe page for more info on subscribing to Flow music podcasts.
